CM Futures Trader Development Programme

Five Phases. You move on when you can show the work.

Every module ends with something you produce, and each Phase opens when the previous work can be checked. Evidence decides when you move on, not the hours of video you sat through.

Applied sprints · Capstone

You complete

30-trade evidence review, readiness decision and 90-day plan

The Founding Sprint covers Phases 1-2 plus your Risk Operating Plan and playbook v1. The optional Continuation starts Phase 3. Neither promises completion of all five Phases.

The capstone

One market. One setup. Thirty trades.

The capstone is a single sample of thirty documented trades in one market, taken with one setup and recorded against the same checklist each time. What matters is not the result of any one trade, but whether the process held when it was tested. Cody reviews the sample with you and records a readiness decision against it.

How progress is assessed

Three levels. Graded on process, not profit.

Developing

You understand it but apply it inconsistently.

Competent

You apply it correctly in normal conditions.

Validated

You've shown it repeatedly across different conditions.

P&L doesn't set the grade. A well-executed loss can show excellent process; a profitable rule breach can't.

Education without the hype

Develop Understanding

The aim is to help traders understand why decisions are made, not simply copy someone else's trades.

Prioritise Risk

Every analytical idea must be supported by clearly defined and affordable risk.

Build Independence

Education should support the development of an individual process rather than dependence on signals or predictions.

CM Futures does not provide trade signals, managed accounts or guaranteed trading outcomes.
